If y'all know of a piano that can help me with a Rachmaninoff prelude let me know.
Which one? I'm working on Op 32 No 2 in B flat minor.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Shocking, isn't it? ^_^

We used to have a small snoopy perched on our piano, back in the days when the kid was playing Linus & Lucy. Always made me smile.

but yes, beautiful piano, Mark.

heh heh, thanks for the chuckle. I seriously needed it. Yeah, Snoopy and Woodstock went on a bender the night before that photo was taken. I was up all night with worry. Damn fools even drove the car home after getting plastered.

I have the Schimmel T169. The T169 model is no longer made. It is a 5 ft 7 in baby grand.

A Samick SU 121 (48")upright - it's now about 18 years old that I bought used about 8 years ago, and I've gotten great mileage out of it. Holds its tune wonderfully, plays very well and has a very nice tone for a midsized upright.

A rebuilt M & H model A is quite possibly in my near future.

I also have a Roland GW-7 workstation I use for computer stuff and gigging. Fun using the sequencer, and it has some wonderful world instrument samples, including a great tenor sax, and a very authentic nylon string classical guitar patch. The piano patches are disappointingly mediocre, but there's killer dyno Rhodes, B3 and some cool synth patches. Good deal at about $600.

A couple of times a week I also play a Kawai CA5 digital for a church choir I play for. Quite a genuine feel to this digital, and a couple of the piano patches sound very authentic.

Here's my piano by the way. Right next to it I have a Roland AT90R console organ that I recorded an accompaniment for this piece into.

The piece is from Axtremus's website and I liked the pentatonic scale used in the melody.
