I'm still waiting for LW to PM me her address so I can make arrangements for her dog.
I wish I could. He looks adorable and JUST like the type of dog I would like, but I can hardly feed myself and my 2 cats right now. No place for exercise. Oh how I wish I could come get him. :brokenheart: :weeping:
And how are you today?

Can't they take it to a no-kill place? Or to other Scottish Deerhound, Dane or Airedale rescue places?
And how are you today?

One? Yes. Two? No. Which is why it would only be on a short term. Personally, I would prefer to find another option for both of them. If we had to take one, the Airedale would probably make the most sense; but there is something appealing to me about having a big ugly shaggy scottish beast...

I've always liked having dogs that when you wrestle with them, the dogs can win...

If I was to be choosing a dog myself, I'd probably lean towards a Golden Retriever (mix), Border Collie (mix), or Lab. I've always really liked all of these dogs.
Thought about one of these?

Not quite as big as you want, but they don't require toooo much space, are pretty intelligent and are deceptively robust. A small 30 pound dog that thinks he weighs 85 pounds.

Besides, some corgies show evidence of fairie saddles. It's not everyone who can boast their dog is the preferred steed of woodland nymphs!
