Well for anybody who's been paying attention, it's common knowledge that the new and improved video game Left 4 Dead II is now out!!! Woot!! The infected are stronger, faster, deadlier, and are coming to get you!!! |

I'm still trying to get M&M's to let me get Left 4 Dead the original... |

Haha! Yeah baby! Gotta be careful too, those bastards know to rush you now when you utter that out loud. We should have a different code word for "reloading" so those filthy creatures won't get wise. |

Can you play two from the same console, as well as network? |

maybe she thinks you're not up to the task yet LD. I mean I can see you've totally been trained to deal with the zombie infestation, but as has been pointed out earlier in this thread, the infected are a different matter. Are you worthy? |

Do body shots have any effect on the infected in L4D, or is it headshots only? Or, does it depend on the type of infected? |

All kinds, man. All kinds. The Witch is my least favorite. Such an annoying PITA. |

The infected will go down just like any regular human, although headshots always ensure a more efficient death. It is a stat that is tracked among the players in this game. But there are more than just regular infected types, there are "super" creatures among the infected that have unique unhumanly powers and they are always to be watched out for as their lethality (is that a word?) is unmatched. There's one creature we like to call the Tank, who kind of resembles a cross of The Hulk and The Thing in Fantastic Four , and let me tell you brother, he will take a dumptruck full of bullets before he goes down. Aqua referred to another nasty creature we call the Witch, she seems harmless enough, just a skinny waif of a girl, but piss her off and you might as well KYAG (that's Kiss Your Ass Goodbye in L4D parlance). She will thrash you and rip your heart out while you're pissing your pants. Again, going into battle against this genre of undead is not for the faint of heart. People like myself and Aqua have been through the formal training required to combat this type of creature. Edited by Nobody's Sock, Dec 4 2009, 09:50 AM.
