Yeah, but also to wash the fresh stuff.

I can see both sides of this one, but I already take responsibility for food safety in my home. It's only smart to be aware of the issues and not trust your safety to everyone else, at least where you can. Food production, from the farm to the table, is an inherently dirty process.
