Chrysler Closing 789 Dealerships

And here's the full list.
It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.

HOLY CARP!!!
From that link there is an interesting and pretty spot-on take on the vehicles that brought Chrysler to its knees. Chrysler essentially pulling a bait and switch - sucking you in with nice styling or clever features and then showing you poor quality fit and finish, materials and then the coup de grace, bad reliability.

If they follow Jaguar's example and increase the quality and reliability, they could really emerge quite stronger. If not, they'll be on life support for a few years until Fiat will probably have to pull the plug (after using the bones of Chrysler to establish their own dealer network).
