Yeah .. those were my teary moments too R2. For some moms it's sports, but seeing the peer interactions is worth gold to me. I help sometimes with makeup for the kids. I like that.

Nice video, Frank. Ha. Backstage was a bit like that, except all the kids were changing costumes while asking if you'd seen their (insert small prop here).

Blondie -- I think whenever my kid manages to get himself on a stage, I'll volunteer to be behind it. It's fun back there and the other moms and dads were a hoot. Controlled chaos all around.

I love the sports, too, but this is all me.

Seeing so many of the other kids be supportive of each other just breaks a mom's heart.

I know there are jerks out there, but sometimes you forget how many great kids there are, too. To see other kids cheer for my son and slap him on the back (and ask for his autograph, ha!) made me cry.

Being friendly to someone else's kid is just the kindest thing.
Isn't that the truth. I recall some great moments like that, the guy back slapping thing, at my son's jazz band concerts, and on the soccer field. You're right, those were the highlights for a parent. I think because we know that it means so much to them.

Yeah, I see the truth in that.

It takes parents first, but many, many others after that.
