So Obie is going to speaking tomorrow at ASU, in the football stadium. The security is not allowing people to bring in water bottles -- must be some sort of security threat like at the airport? So they were going to let people bring in empty water bottles and fill them up inside the security zone. Until the health official nixed that, saying that it could spread swine flu. How you ask? By someone with the virus using the bottle, and setting it down where someone else takes it to use it for their own use. As if. So it's going to be in the 90s -- temperatures in the concrete stands will be upward of 120 degrees -- people are going to be out in the sun for about 6 hours from when the gates open, and they are not allowed water unless presumably they purchase it from the concessionaire. I predict at least 100 people wind up in the medic tent or the hospital thanks to the joint stupidity of the Secret Service and the Dept of Health. But on the bright side, Alice Cooper is the warm up act. |

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead

We have reached the point that water bottles are a threat to the president in a stadium? Holy crap. Mark... you got any literature on this Ron Paul guy? |
