Yeah, that Mike Adams, he's a nice piece of work huh?

That's pretty pathetic. Anyone who writes an article with lies in the very first paragraph, who presumably wants to be taken seriously, is a dick head.

What a lot of rubbish. If this woman is in the counseling program, presumably because she wants to become a counselor, the school is right in demanding that she adhere to current scientific thought. A hell of a couselor she'd make.

Imagine if a Christian Scientist in med school refused to accept modern thought on antibiotics, gets dismissed from program and suit ensued.

Nonsense. Frivolous law suits, when will it ever end!?

HOLY CARP!!!
I disagree. He was trying to make a point with an outrageous statement in his first paragraph - teasing, if you will.

All I can think of when I read the school's decision was, here come the thought police.

I suppose once upon a time Copernicus got kicked out of University because of his "wrong thinking". I'm not saying she's correct, but to stifle her opinion because it isn't the majority opinion seems wrong. Heck, give her a failing grade on that score, but kick her out of the program because she disagrees with some aspect? Anyway, it seems that the precept was much more of a "moral judgment" than a "scientific fact".

What 'scientific thought' holds that homosexual behavior is morally acceptable?

This article reinforces something I have been saying for a long time. Gays are not seeking tolerance in America, they are seeking approval. That's where the battle line gets drawn. There are people who do not and will not ever agree to this.

She wants to be a counselor ... to be a counselor, you have to be able to accept people's lawful behavior without judging them. She's apparently incapable of that. She shouldn't be a counselor. Good judgment on the school's part.

You just illustrated the difference perfectly. So why not be required to have a session where she affirms that a black client is black? How about fat? How about (gasp) REPUBLICAN?

The affirmative session is goofy politics.

Is she planning on telling clients that they should stop being black? That they should stop being Republicans?

I didn't hear anywhere she was planning to stop telling people to be gay. Remaining neutral on the subject, like counselors are required to do on so many behaviors, is a far cry from endorsing it.
