We don't know the whole story here. Let's not rush to judgement.

To some extent, being a parent involves financial support of your offspring. According to that interview with Larry King, Levi's falling short on that score.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

I think the list of people who's behaviour has fallen somewhat short during this this unfortunate situation is a pretty long one, and is by no means restricted to the penis-wielding Mr. Johnston.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

Heh, we used "short" "long" "score" and "penis" in two posts. Well, done, D'Oh.

What a circus!
Quote:

While the young father and his mother at times appeared hesitant about the prospect of taking formal legal action, Mercede Johnston, Levi Johnston’s younger sister, seemed anxious to get the brewing custody battle in front a judge.

“I hope it happens soon, to be honest” Mercede Johnston said. “I want that baby in my life just as much as he does.”

I suspect that what Mercede really wants is the chance to be on tv, woohoo! Larry King Live!! How cool is that!?
WTF? :rolleyes2:

His point is that he will provide the same sorts of things ... at his house ... that Bristol provides at hers. That's equally supporting the child.

So who's paying for the wet nurse?

Quirt: what again does this story have to do with Sarah Palin such that you invoked her name in the title of the thread?

Her daughter is still a minor, is she not?

Therefore, any decisions made concerning her grandchild, and who is allowed to take the grandchild out of the house, are most certainly within her purview.

Moreover, I'm going to guess that she's the one making the decisions here. I can't be certain of that, but I think it's a safe bet.

Regardless, it's not newsworthy.
If Sarah Palin had not chosen, and would not choose, to pretend that she has some sort of moral superiority in her quest for national office, I'd agree.

But we all know that she's the one who put her family values on the table.

It's kind of like when Gary Hart dared the press to find evidence of him cheating. If you put it out there, you have to live with the consequences.

After some googling, it seems Bristol was born October 18th 1990. That would make her of majority, wouldn't it?

Okay, good enough for me- maybe that's why she rubbed me the wrong way at the business reception last year at the Global Petroleum Show in Calgary.

So? Do you know the intimate details of that relationship? Do you know she is not paying rent or otherwise helping out around the house? What again does that have to do with invoking Sarah's name in the title of this thread?

Quirt argued Sarah was fair game because Bristol was a minor. It seems she is not a minor, so that argument fails.

If that birth date is correct, you're both right, but I stand by my guess that it's Sarah making the decisions.

Quirt, if God forbid your daughter was in the same position as Bristol, would your attitude be any different than Sarah's regarding whether your grandchild should be given joint custody to the deadbeat father?

Why? Because she has become a sacred cow to you and others. And sacred cows usually have a big bullseye painted on them with the words "Gore Me"
