I am so adjective that I verb nouns!
I had not heard of him before, but he sounds like a true hero and a credit to his nation.

He died about two weeks ago. May he rest in peace.

I understand being a hero in battle, but to spend that many years, and to go into harms way that often just boggles my mind. That "Greatest Generation" produced some people that "rocked".
