I was following it until the last paragraph, which decried the lack of available ammunition on store shelves.

It doesn't decry the lack of ammunition, as much as points out the fact.

Read the paragraph, and tell me what it means.

Speaking of which: I just traded the Glock 30 .45acp for a Bersa .380, Jolly. Granted, the Glock is worth more, but I've already got the Bersa .45 and that's my carry weapon. I may use the .380 for a back-up in an ankle holster. It's small enough for that. The guy I bought it from, is bringing me an ankle holster and a box of hollow-points, as part of the trade. :thumb:

Well, I look at it as purely back-up. Who knows? Maybe I'll begin leaving the .45 by the bed and carry the .380. I don't know yet.

Isn't an ankle holster a little reminiscent of buxom Germanic women with small pistols in Mel Brooks' movies?

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

At the very least one should ask what is the end result of a society of entitlement?
