Sometimes there are 2 interesting posts next to each other, and I find it hard to know which one to open first. Something like, "Jesus found alive!" Vs "Hot woman"! I usually choose the latter, but I like it more on boring days when only one good topic pops up. |

Either of those threads could be a let down: - Jesus found alive! "Jesus Ramirez was rescued from his burning house today..." - Hot woman! "...unfortunately, Jesus' sister, Maria, was not so lucky." |

Random FML: Today, I was fired by my boss in front of my coworkers. It would have been nice if I could have left the building before they started celebrating. FML The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D | |

I generally pick the one that's more likely to be a good source of cheap laughs at someone else's expense. This thread being the exception, obviously. |

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
|
But no, I never have trouble with it. I only have trouble with Quirt from time to time. He may feel similarly. |

I usually wait until a Jolly thread has at least like 10 responses. Because I know if I open it up as soon as he posts it, it's just a link to some random article.

Nice one, Phleb. ![]()
I know, dude. The guy's a walking New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Province, and every local paper you can probably think of. I've noticed more forumites are adopting his style as well. Some of them try to get you, though. They won't post the direct link; instead they copy/paste the entire article right on the forum. Sneaky sneaky.

Ah, 'tis a style. I never post one I don't have an opinion about. But it's always nice to hear what others think, before wading in... |
