I think I have a pretty low resting heart rate...I wonder how much of a freak I am. Before posting my result...what's your beats per minute (BPM)?

Mine is usually about 60. Bjorn Borg supposedly had a heart rate of about 30.

Right now 57. You run crazy distances though so it's not so surprising you have a low resting heart rate.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Mine is between 55 and 63. I track it with blood pressure.

MP. 91 can be normal, but is probably too high for someone your age. Get checked up.

I hope you are taking it in the morning before rising 89th (& others).
That's when it should be your lowest .. unless of course you've lost pressure.
I'll take mine tomorrow.
Last year and the year before it was fun to track & log it as I got fitter. I remember going in for my check up & my doctor was kind of stunned that someone looking like me could have a low heart rate. But I was doing my long runs then.

when I was in good shape ..... all too many years ago, I had a resting heart rate of between 48 and 52. I haven't checked in a while, but I think it's in the .... wait a minute ... I just opened the 'date and time' on my little computer beast and did a quick check. It's currently around 64 bpm.

Usually mid 50's. I know a couple of runners who are in the low 40's.

edit: weird. I just took it and it's 47. Does Guinness lower your heart rate?
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

In order for me to check, I'd actually have to rest.
