When I click on Firefox to get on the internet, it loads OK but when I go to Yahoo the sign-in page come up and when I click on sign in it won't load. I can open any site that i have bookmarked but no internet site that isn't bookmarked will load. Youtube for example, I can reach the site but the videos won't load.

Any Ideas?

ZOOOOOM!
Sounds like the pages you are loading, are loading from your computer, and not the internet. When you hit Refresh, what happens?

There are a couple standard things you could try, like resetting your computer, resetting your modem (and router, if you have one), checking your cables, stuff like that.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

You may have to search for, download, and install the latest update of the Adobe Flash plug-in.

Yeah.

If it says "waiting for <website>," either the problem is on their end or yours.

If you get similar messages for different sites, you can bet it's on your end. So then, try the little things first like resetting stuff, checking cables, etc. If things still don't work, might have to call your internet service provider and see if there's been service interruptions in your area.

I Owe It All To John D'Oh
Go to Google ... www.google.com.

It's about the fasting loading page out there, and no extra graphics or adobe or java or anything needed.

If you can get to Google, it may be as Frank suggests. If not, there's trouble with your internet connection.

FIXED!!!!!!

I had rebooted both the computer and modem/router, this time I unhooked and rehooked all the wires and it worked.

Thanks.
