Yum! I must try making those someday, perhaps when we get fresh plums here, later in the summer. I recall seeing a recipe where they used frozen puff pastry (or was it phyllo?), which sounds really good to me, as my pastry making gene is defective. :silly:


I've made this for Christmas, which is basically the same as the above recipes but with winter fruit:

The crust is very easy. Throw it all in the mixer, refrigerate it, roll it out, put the fruit in the middle, fold up the sides a bit. It's a free form galette so no need to worry about it looking perfect.
