I agree with your assessment of Sophia Loren, MP. When discussions of beautiful women start, I always think of her.

When I think of the most beautiful woman in the world, I always start here:

Unfortunately, stills do not capture her real beauty. You have to watch her on film. I never got what people saw in her until I saw her in Rear Window ... and then I was convinced that she's the most beautiful woman ever to have lived.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Sophia Loren and Jayne Mansfield. No words necessary.

Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

I dunno, MP - it has migrated to beautiful buxom women. That's ALWAYS a winner in my book.

Oh, and I seriously doubt yours would disappoint a bunch of old reprobates like us. :lol2:

well, only geogre would understand this, but all i see in that picture is an easy shot at inserting a subclavian CVP.

HOLY CARP!!!
Wow, classic babes.

Yes, Grace Kelly was magical.

Some other favorites of mine:

Gene Tierney: fantastic sultry eyes and unearthly bone structure. One of the most beautiful actresses ever.
Posted Image

Elizabeth Taylor: she's a caricature now, but once upon a time she was breathtaking.
Posted Image

Audrey Hepburn: simply, a perfect beauty.
Posted Image

Marilyn Monroe: still setting the standard for sex symbols. She's so cliched, it's easy to forget how truly beautiful she was.

...and hitting the apex or the subclavian artery.

:hair:

Been there, done that.

That's why I do IJ's.

yea, i also only do IJ, but that clavicle...she was just asking to be...penetrated.

in IJ, i go lateral to the muscle and sneak under medialy, but most of the anesthesiologists i see prefer direct between the heads of the SCM. i dont like that angle. anyway...everybody has their preference.

That's what I do.

If not successful I feel that little notch in the clavicle, just lateral to the sternal head of the SCM, walk underneath the clavicle and hit (probably) subclavian vein that way. It's a supraclavicular subclavian. Probably a high incidence of pnemothorax, but if we're doing a heart, I just blame it on the surgeon. He doesn't care. :lol2:
