No more shingles, No more nails, No more lifting heavy pails! No more bushes, No more hedges, No more work on slippery ledges! No more trimming unkempt trees, No more slopes to wreck my knees! No more caulking, No more glue, That sticks to nothing else but you! No more rust spots on the wall, No more metal to install! No more bags of moss and leaves, No more crawling along the eaves! ![]() No more gutters left to clear, No more new requests to hear! No more ladders, No more vents, No more cranky residents! No more of this awful mess, 'til the next big job, I guess. Newbury Place is the complex that has been the bane of my and my foreman's existence since early October. 12 buildings, each requiring every type of repair work you can think of. As soon as we would finish one scope of work, another 10-page file of "requested additional maintanance" would come up. A lot of the "repairs" we did weren't even related to roofing! Trees, bushes, hedges. Get yourselves a landscaper, for cryin' out loud! Anyway, we finished today. I'm gonna celebrate with a bottle of something...expensive. Cheers!

For all we know, that's where we'll be tomorrow. Unless it continues to pour, in which case it's back to leak calls. Either way, we've got 3 crews busting their asses at the village. We'll have the roof done on schedule. The rooms inside may not be complete, but dammit those roofs will be pretty.
