It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.

I'll be back in 20 minutes. I'm going to go take a shower.

Yeah, that's it.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

HOLY CARP!!!
I love Padma. She's smart and sophisticated as hell, but has a great sense of humor and is never afraid to poke fun at herself.

Plus, she's got the wickedest legs on the planet.
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

You have to wonder what it is about the guy that she's attracted to.

I wonder how she got that huge scar on her arm?...

Wiki:

When she was 14 years old, Lakshmi was involved in a serious automobile accident, causing an injury to her right arm that required surgery, which left a 7-inch scar[1] between her elbow and shoulder.

Padma has never been shy about her scar; she's kind of made it her trademark.

She also freely admits that she's attracted to older men because they remind her of her father, whose attention she's always craved. Though one must note that the older men she's been attracted to have also been incredibly wealthy.

That's an incredibly unique set of preferences, isn't it.

Yeah. I've always thought it was incredibly fortunate for Salma Hayek that the father of her child just happened to be a billionaire.
