HOLY CARP!!!
What do you think of him? I've never managed to get tickets for any of his concerts - they are invariably sold out. But then again I'm not a huge fan. Too intellectual interpretations, too little heart and emotion.

I saw him about a year before he retired. I was surprised at how old he looked, since he had used a 20 year old publicity picture.

He was playing Haydn and Mozart. Not my favorite repertory, but I went figuring it was my last chance to see him.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

He was the first pianist I saw live, Diabelli variations. I like him!

I have a recording of his Diabelli variations. They're fantastic.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.
