I knew it!! I knew that the footage they showed of Wallace & Gromit reminded me of the movie, "Chicken Run," and it turns out that he was one the creator of that, as well. w00t! :thumb:

Nick Park FTW! I think he might also do those Chevron commercials.

I heard a couple years ago that Nick Park was coming out with another movie. Any leads on that?

I dunno about a movie, but there's a new 30 min. dvd coming out; I think those 30 min episodes are his best work.

Nick Park comes from my home-town. In one of his movies he named the villainous robotic dog Preston, presumably in it's honour.

Is he a big celeb when he comes back to visit? Not on the scale of a John D'Oh visit, of course.

(John, did you know George's thread with the two videos would be right up your alley? Come see.)

I just looked him up on Wiki, and oddly enough found he went to the Catholic school about 1/2 a mile from where I lived. They've also renamed half of my old 6th Form College after him - so I guess the answer is yes. Funnily enough, I played in a little 6 piece jazz band there, and the tenor sax player went on to be the sax player and Musical Director for Simply Red. Suffice to say, I wasn't invited.

John D'Oh - always the bridesmaid.
