I just figured out that when you ignore someone you still see the posts they create on the main forum page. |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

HOLY CARP!!!

There are none so deaf as those that will not hear. That's kenny, to be sure. He tries he laughs--but did you ever notice how much of his laughter is tinged with sadness? Always the clown, but never funny. Always the philosopher, but without wisdom. Always looking happiness--yet never even finding even a remote sense of solace from this hectic life. Copper, do you sense as I do that this "ignore" stunt that kenny is trying is nothing more or less than a cry for help? A cry from the depths of his soul for real friends in the midst of backslapping and air kisses. Copper, kenny is reaching out to us--in the depths of his despair and hopelessness. He needs us. We are his only true friends. We need to love him and cherish him all the more in his rejection of us. WE LOVE YOU kENNY. (Someone please copy and quote this.) |

"Any man who would make an X rated movie should be forced to take his daughter to see it". - John Wayne There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it". Henry II: I marvel at you after all these years. Still like a democratic drawbridge: going down for everybody. Eleanor: At my age there's not much traffic anymore. From The Lion in Winter.

Of course we do. I hadn't thought along those lines. I have considered that he may be troubled, so I have kind of stayed away from him until this recent ignorance. Prior to that, I had from time to time advised him of my dislike for some of his tastes. It is possible that during this season of penance he has decided to offer up the sacrifice of our company as an act of atonement. |
