Yes, now the ideas are coming!
pasta with shrimp, linguine with clams, cheese pizza, veggie pizza, etc.

There are a few recipes I've been wanting to try:
Farfalle with Asparagus, Roasted Shallots and Blue Cheese
Cheesy Baked Penne with Cauliflower and Crème Fraîche
Torn Pasta With Zucchini And Arugula

I think I'll make the first one for dinner tonight.

Are shrimp and clams vegetarian?
We can't eat meat on Fridays in Lent -- no beef, chicken, pork . . . seafood is ok. I already have some fish dishes thus I was asking about vegetarian dishes to add to my Fridays in Lent repertoire.

I offered Buddy the cat some asparagus from the pasta dish last night. He loved it. He also eats lettuce and sauteed spinach. Funny cat.

We had a dog named Teddy that LOVED sauerkraut. Absolutely craved it. When a stray dig named Lucky adopted us, he saw Teddy eating it, and went up to give it a try. He took a sniff, and backed away. Teddy went back to it, took another bite, backed up and looked at Lucky. I swear, you could see Lucky shrug, then he walked up and took a big bite. I had never seen a dog's face turn green before.
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.
