Well, not really. I peeled the sticky protector thingie off and stuck the flap down. On my Whatcom Artist's Studio Tour 2009 application. http://studiotour.net/index.php You know, the tour they rejected me from last year. Last year, I listed my studio name as "The Garage". This year I called it "The Red Shed Studio" Even though it's still the garage. Last year I didn't say I had room for another artist. Apparently, they like it if you do. So this year, I said I had space for somebody with a table, for example someone who does jewelry. Haha. Last year I submitted oil landscapes, this year I submitted a bunch of portraits. Older work, but there were a lot of landscape type painters last year, so I thought I'd try something else. So here's what went on the CD: "Cowkids" Watercolor 27" x 19" "Fetlock" Watercolor 9" x 13" "Katie" Watercolor 9" x 13" "Idaho Horses" Oil on Canvas 20" x 16" "Wizard" Pastel 14" x 24" So, keep your fingers crossed. I'm off to the post office. Last year, I cried when I got rejected. This year I need to handle it better if it happens again. http://www.caerdroia.org/116/nuclear-explosion.jpg Ha ha.

Random FML: Today, I was fired by my boss in front of my coworkers. It would have been nice if I could have left the building before they started celebrating. FML The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D | |
