Well, not really. I peeled the sticky protector thingie off and stuck the flap down. On my Whatcom Artist's Studio Tour 2009 application. http://studiotour.net/index.php

You know, the tour they rejected me from last year. :weeping:

Last year, I listed my studio name as "The Garage". This year I called it "The Red Shed Studio" Even though it's still the garage. :D Last year I didn't say I had room for another artist. Apparently, they like it if you do. So this year, I said I had space for somebody with a table, for example someone who does jewelry.

Haha. :lol2:

Last year I submitted oil landscapes, this year I submitted a bunch of portraits. Older work, but there were a lot of landscape type painters last year, so I thought I'd try something else.

So here's what went on the CD:

Posted Image
"Cowkids" Watercolor 27" x 19"

Posted Image
"Fetlock" Watercolor 9" x 13"

Posted Image
"Katie" Watercolor 9" x 13"

Posted Image
"Idaho Horses" Oil on Canvas 20" x 16"

Posted Image
"Wizard" Pastel 14" x 24"

So, keep your fingers crossed. I'm off to the post office. Last year, I cried when I got rejected. This year I need to handle it better if it happens again.

The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D

My goodness are you talented. Beautiful work! Good luck!
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

Jodi, you are so incredibly talented. My Cowkids notecard has kept its place on my office bulletin board for a long time now.

I also thought the Cowkids was a photograph (though I have seen that painting posted before).
