My foreman has our car radio glued to a New Country Music station. This came on the radio today:

I think I'll wear earplugs in the van from now on. At least until I regrow the hair on my chest.

I am so adjective that I verb nouns!
I got to 0:36 before I gave up.

I lasted 0:45 on the waterboard.

NAK, that's just a bad song. Insipid is the word that best describes it.

What you need to do is introduce your foreman to some Outlaw Country. Go out and get some Waylon and slap it in his face. If he don't like it - find a new job.

Ren, I hadn't heard of Waylon Jennings - or even of the term "Outlaw Country" - until just now. I looked it up on Wikipedia and found that I already like many of the artist associated with the style: Johnny Cash, David Allan Coe (The Rodeo Song rules :D ), Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Hank Williams Jr., Chet Atkins. Any suggestions for a good first Waylon album?

That's a horrid song, but gayest ever? No. Here ya go. (Not a Rick Roll)
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Honky Tonk Heroes was a good choice- but then pretty much everything by Waylon was good. My recommendation is the 2 disc Waylon Live: The Expanded Editon rerelease: . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waylon_Live

Try some Jerry Jeff Walker while you're at it. Live At Gruene Hall and Great Gonzos are two of my favs.

Also, for outlaw, Willie Nelson's Redheaded Stranger is excellent.

  :hair:

Gayest video? Absolutely, hands down, no contest. But if you close your eyes it's not so painful. The monstrosity I posted is pure pain from beginning to end.
