I mean fresh as balls. Soft, chewy, ****ing delicious.

I'll go anywhere to find them. I have gas in my tank, cookie money in my pocket, and the unquenchable desire to find the best cookie around.

Mrs. Fields is good, but what else is out there?

Come on, I want to go soon.

My wife makes them - soft and chewy. Think the key is that they are loaded with butter.

Although I hear brenda's are indeed awesome, it is a matter of public record that I make the best ****ing chocolate chip cookies in the world.

I sometimes make chocolate chip cookies using the same recipe as Barbara Bush.

My chocolate chip cookie recipe is from a 1950s Betty Crocker cookbook. Butter and all that, soft and tasty. I have a fantastic peanut butter cookie recipe from that cookbook too.

Okay, okay. I'm gonna have to get outside help for this one, though. The Myseriey of the Chocolate Chip Awesome was too much for any one person to handle, and so the recipe was shared between myself and my former co-worker, who did the prep stuff. I will try to get back in contact with him this week to discuss the details.

(They really are good, though.)

Aqua - have you ever had Insomnia Cookies?
Do they keep you awake and cause insomnia (coffee in the dough), or are they meant to cure the insomnia?

I don't like soft and chewy.

Mrs. Fields is almost uncooked and has that gritty substance that really destroys the texture.

I like Toll House cookies baked well-done, kind of slightly black at the edges.

Chip's Ahoy aren't that bad lately, they can be inconsistent and are usually too dry, but lately they have been on the well-done crunchy side which is the best.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy
