Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

That song is so above my level, but it's been my goal for years. I'll get it someday!

Hands look painfully tense to me- no wonder it comes off like choppy sea water.

I like relaxed playing like this teen's take on Tico Tico and Besame Mucho:

That was really painful to watch, George.

There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

Me neither, after hearing, playing and teaching All Turka if I heard another rendition before i died, it would be too soon.

I started that Mozart sonata last May. I love the 1st movement, and the 2nd is pretty cool too. I decided NOT to learn the 3rd, just out of spite.

Unfortunately, I did.

However, I have to admit that (at least for me) it's hard.

At least at tempo.

By far the hardest part of K331 is the last page of the first movement. It's a little muthaf-er that I can never ever ever play cleanly.

The Sonata in A can be a beast in the first mvmt. I never much liked the rondo. Overplayed, not even that catchy as far as Mozart goes. :hide:

The only beneficial thing I have ever taken from it is by making the section with the long right hand runs into an exercise. Just play the right hand melody in both hands. Good for unison and dexterity.
