If they didn't really need the money, they shouldn't have taken it in the first place.

It was supposed to be for an emergency situation. If their situation isn't dire and if they don't really need the money, then they should damn well give it back, because it was taken under false pretenses.

Yeah, I heard that too. In fact I saw an interview with the head of B of A (this was a few months back), and he stated that all banks were to accept the money to mask the failing banks from the healthy ones.
