I have a recording of Sawallisch conducting the Schumann Symphonies. The 1st symphony is remarkable. Although in this recording, I don't know why he speeds up at around 5:30. And what's with that slow down at 7:26? Hay! I have a metronome up for sale on eBay! (really, I do!) |
