Katherine (Kat) is a good friend of mine...we've run together a couple times, including when I was visiting Pittsburgh last year, and we talk often. She has also run 2 marathons (the same 2 I ran) although we didn't run the races together. One of the nicest persons you'll ever meet. The article is about how she's running the Antarctica Marathon next month and at the same time raising funds for injured marines.

I didn't start this post thinking about this, so dont get me wrong, but if you'd like to donate to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, please follow the link below. Also shoot me a PM (dont tell me the amount) so I can let her know that (your name) are a friend of mine so she has some idea where you came from! It's a really good cause.

Coming from Pittsburgh, the Antarctic Marathon shouldn't be any worse than running in Mt. Lebanon in Feb...
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.
