Tonight's meal: slowed cooked pulled pork barbecue with Tennessee style sauce (tangy slightly sweet and very spicy tomato based), from-scratch slaw, cooked apples and green beans (aka "snaps" here in the South).

There's enough for about 8 people. Now taking reservations...Posted Image

We'll be expecting you!

I imagine I'm going to need another band fill soon...and filled so tightly that I squeak! (my new size 12 slacks are getting a wee bit snug)

Maybe you weren't here in fall of '07? I had the Lap Band procedure done...

Before and after, both photos include TNCR ladies with me:

I just started here in late August of 2008. I missed your transformation. I may go back and check some of the threads from that time to learn more about it.

Sounds delectable, Plays.

HOLY Moses Plays.
That was you before?
I had no idea.
You've come a long ways with the weight loss.

Oh, .. Could you post that pulled pork thing in the recipe thread?
I've a whole whack of pork in the freezer I could do up.

Thanks, blondie! :whome:

I posted the recipe. If you want, I'll mail you the stuff cuz I know you can't get it in Canada. I've got one box packed up to mail to my friend in BC, so let me know and I'll happily do the same for you.

Sounds yummy! One of the best things about meals like that are the left overs for lunches.

Interesting Plays. I want to look at our supermarket .. the specialty one. The slow cooker packaged mix looks real familiar, actually. This is bringing back Alabama memories. Dreamland Ribs to be specific. You folks sure know how to do pork .. but your pork is far tastier than what we produce here.
