I didn't get to CES this year to comment on this, but here's a good summary on what's new in the world of LCD TV's from someone who did. Eight trends in LCD tv's I do like the colored bezel concept. |

Get one with a big box so when the dreck on the tube drives you off the edge you have something small and dark to crawl into.

Thank you 1hp. There’s also a ninth trend that I would add to the list. It's the on-screen TV guide feature. Not sure if it’s included with Trend no. 4 though. From what I can tell, Sony is the only one that currently offers it. You can see what’s being offered on every channel right on the TV screen. Basically, it saves you from having to consult a newspaper or TV Guide magazine. I’m currently looking for a 40” HDTV. My current TV is too old and small to bother buying a converter box. Some of the technical terminology in the comparison charts is hard to understand. Me QAANAAQ, you NOT. |
