HOLY CARP!!!
i havent downloaded sheet music for a while, but one of the lacunas in my music book collection is WTC II and i needed to see a prelude/fugue , so i thought id download until i bought the book, and i see that sheetmusicarchive.net which had reasonable pdf files, but limited to 2 a day downloads, is now subscription only.

anybody know an alternate site?

Some stuff is still free, I just downloaded Chopin's 3rd Sonata last week.

But you're right, a lot is subscription only.

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

imslp is cool. I've always wanted to see the Tausig transcription of Bach's d- T&F BWV 565.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

you can listen to it at classical archives.. and download a mp3 if you are a member.

when learning Bach, it really pays to have listened to it 20 or so times... you can then readily notice the wrong notes that you play.

it's a typical fairly nonchallenging p/f.. but really pretty hard if you are not used to Bach, but easy to learn the notes.....

if you want a couple pointers.....keep your fingers high, learn the hands separately, and don't worry about the voices till later.
