I Owe It All To John D'Oh
And it got 61 votes ... even without Democratic Senators from New York and Minnesota.

Bush had threatened to veto it. Obama will undoubtedly sign it.

More change George can believe in!
It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.

The Ledbetter bill would clarify that every paycheck resulting from discrimination would constitute a new violation, extending the 180-day statute of limitations for filing a claim.
Sounds like a formula for bankrupting a company. I agree that there should be no discrimination, but if statistically men were more aggressive at negotiating salaries, then why should companies be forced to everyone the highest wages that the most aggressive negotiators got?

HOLY CARP!!!
Have to keep them under the ever watchful eye of the federal government IT.

Jeeze get with the program.

Socialism has arrived in full force and I fear there is nothing we can do to stop it.

However, I do applaud President Obama for the steps he has taken in the freezing of salaries. I would have liked to have seen cuts in the number of staff and pay reductions but this was a good step.

The other thing I like is that he is undoing a lot of the things that I could not abide these past 6 years. I would love to see him undo the Medicare Entitlement spending that Bush signed but I know that will never happen.

Wealth distribution. "To each according to his needs." Where have I heard that slogan before?
