Some life questions...what do I do?

So I was gone for a while. Now I am ready to start anew. That woman situation, as comical as it sounds, really derailed my life for a while and delayed me - but now I am ready to fully move on.

I have about a 1-2 month break before I start to really work again in terms of a "job". Here's my big problem.

I have not practiced much. I have really neglected music over the last 2 years as I discovered the dangerous albeit seductive world of women.

I know that if I go full throttle into my "job", I will most likely never focus on music again - and thus never leave the level I am at now.

I don't really know what my talent or potential is, but with the small effort I have put forth I have gotten good results. What happens if I really put forth a valiant effort, to see how far I can go? Not only in terms of practicing normal music, but composing too.

I don't really know what my capabilities are, or my limits.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
There really are very few limits, I think. You already play beautifully. What do you have to do to keep music a priority in your life? Even if you never make a living from it, living with it is a far richer life than without.
