Does this mean you didn't stand in the line at 4am at the Metro to get herded into the mass of excitement?

As a matter of fact, all of this crap is keeping me from getting to work. I have to get into Arlington, and every fvcking way in is closed except Metro with a four hour wait.

But no, it's not just the traffic. It's the radio. TOP had me ready to put my head through the windshield. Especially the man on the street interviews.

There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

Today is the day when couples all over America are making love again and shout ‘Yes we can’ as they climax.

No reason to go to work.

The Leesburg airport is shutdown - security.

35 miles from DC and they shut down the airport - knuckleheads!
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Metro closes station after rider falls
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090120/ap_on_go_pr_wh/inauguration_subway_accident
WASHINGTON – Metro officials say someone fell onto the subway tracks at a downtown station and was struck by a train, prompting officials to close two stations and turn around some trains.

Metro spokesman Doug Karas said Tuesday the Gallery Place station on the Red Line was closed after the accident and trains were turning around at Judiciary Square and Farragut North.

The closure forced people to walk further to reach the National Mall.

Karas says the incident happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. He says it's not clear whether crowding on the platforms is to blame for the person falling. There was no immediate word on the person's condition.

Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

If she did, and she didn't tell you, then you got a problem.

It's taking him some time to check on this with plays.
