HOLY CARP!!!
The Tallis Scholars have a new Josquin recording coming out in March. You can get a free download of the Gloria from Missa Fortuna desperata.

Download available in different formats and quality -- check the samples at this page to find the best match for your media player. http://www.gimell.com/musicstore-download-test-files.aspx

BTW, my favorite Tallis Scholars recording:

Probably. I am already registered -- I get their newsletter.

I went with the MP3 version, as that seemed to work best with iTunes.

IT and I are seeing them in concert in Seattle in March. :D

I have been a fan of the Tallis Scholars for many years now. Most recently I bought Tudor Church Music vols. I & II. Excellent.

Have you heard Vivaldi's Nisi Dominus or the Stabat Mater as sung by Andreas Scholl?

Sublime heavenly beauty in that man's voice.

I can send you some samples if you want a preview.

Yes, I've heard them. I have the Scholl recordings of Vivaldi's Stabat Mater and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. Wonderful.

Excellent.

He was the first countertenor I ever heard. I compare all others to him and he always comes out on top.

A silky smooth voice that soothes my soul every time I listen.
