This Thursday. Got my ticket.

I've never heard him, but have heard about him. Anybody ever see him?

This is what he's playing:

SCHUBERT
Four Impromptus, Op.142
Sonata in A Major, D.664
LISZT
Vallée d’Obermann
Sonetto 123 del Petrarca
Mephisto Waltz No.1

George, do you have any recordings of the D664? I'd really like to hear it a few times before going.

HOLY CARP!!!
I've heard him about 3 times. He's one of my favorites. He comes to Pittsburgh on a regular basis. You're in for a great evening.

My piano teacher was a piano student with him at Julliard, I think (or Indiana University, not sure which).

Wow!

And from what I've read, you've got some piano teacher. Good for you.

Yeah, I really like my piano teacher. He really likes "Manny" as he calls him. Says he's just a great guy who deserves the success that he's had.

This weekend I listened to my piano teacher rehearse Rachmaninoff piano concerto No. 2. He did a dry-run for his students -- he has a concert this month. Wow. That was a great experience.

I think Andre Watt is on the faculty of Indiana Univ. That's some staff they have.

Yes, in my next, more talented life, I plan to study music there.

Make sure you give us a review of Mr. Ax's performance.
