Make sure you've got the game on TV with the sound turned down so I can hear Tunch on the radio.

Uh.. can we go somewhere else? I'm not too crazy about the decor there. Black and yellow is a fine combination - if you're a bee. :D

You're out Mik. Indefensible.

I hate to ask this, lest I reveal my fallibility, but when is the Steeler game this weekend?

4:45 Sunday.

Al, Tunch is pretty good, isn't he? He's no Myron, but who could be? Tunch was the beginning of my fascination with the odd names of players the Steelers have had overthe years.

As far as the beer, I don't know what to get. Iron City doesn't really do it for me. Rolling Rock is now brewed in Jersey... I don't know what to get...

Blast Furnace Stout from the Church Brew Works would go very well, but I don't think it's on tap in that bar. Maybe they have some Penn Pilsner in bottles.

LD, do you like Yuenling porter? That is my fall-back beer. It's dark, but not heavy. It's brewed in Pottsville, PA, I believe.

Does that ever sound good! What a great name.

Hmm, it is only 10:52 a.m. here.....bit early for that, I guess. Although, I could just pretend it's coffee. :whome:

I need a drink. A virtual one, anyway. I'm ready to shoot my computer here at work. The network got f**ked up and had the date as Monday March 9, 2009. so, naturally, it said my password expired. I created a new one and was fine. I can log into CSM just fine. now, I can't log into Kronos, our timecard/timekeeper. My coworkers in the surrounding cubicles now know I can cuss like a sailor with Tourette's. :veryangry:

LE, you can curse like a sailor at happy hour if ya want. I'll buy you a huge tub of popcorn and you can eat half of it and throw the other half at mean-looking people. I do that sometimes.

It's not bad. The conmpany was bought by Bud a while back so they distribute it. I used to get it in NJ in the 80s and have to drive it home to NYC.

I like it. All we see in Florida is the "Black and Tan."

Tom, we had a case of Black and Tan over the holidays. I stuck to red wine, but the B&T looked good.

Hey 89th, howz the girlfriend? Are we serious?

Hey R2...she's good, thanks for asking. We're still hanging out basically Friday-Sunday each weekend and at least once during the week, and things are going well. We have lots in common and she's a great catch, so I consider myself lucky! Even though it's been 4+ months, technically we're still "just dating" compared to the 100% serious/exclusive/official label, blah, blah, blah :blah: , but we act about as serious as a couple at this stage could act, I guess. Personally, I'd like to take it to the "next step", and she knows this, but I understand where she is coming from (recent relationships, big move to a new city, etc) so I think pushing the issue would backfire more than it'll help at this point, so we'll see!

Cool, 89th. I'm excited for you. I'm sure you'll handle it smoothly. Make sure you occasionally play the piano for her.

Oh, and Mik, I put you on my ignore list until after Sunday. : )

Hey, how about some of those black and gold nachos over here - heavy on the jalapenos and an order of fried pierogies.

Oh good. Now that she's ignoring me I can say what I REALLY think.

Isn't R2 just the best? I mean, except for this Steelers aberration, she's pretty much perfect. Red hair (auburn anyway), good looking, smart, artistic, talented, does yoga (and we all know what THAT means, guys.... ). On top of that she has a wonderful heart. Her family is lucky to have her and so are we.

Too bad she had to miss that. Oh well. I don't like to wear my heart on my sleeve, so I can only do this while she's not looking. :hearts:

Hey Mik! I didn't see you come in. Go over to and get yourself a beer on my tab. The bartenders right over there:

Pssst, who's the girl from Baltimore you brought, and why's she got Ben's name across her ass?
