Speaking of Stained Glass....

Mrs. George's parents lived in a classic "Berwyn Bungalow" (google it), and they had real, leaded stained glass in their home. It became unfashionable to have that in the 1940's, so they pulled the windows, and stored them in the basement (having replaced them with very fashionable glass block!). When they died, we brought the windows to our place. There were three - two small and one large. Here's what they look like:

About 3 years ago, we decided it would look nice to hang one in one of our windows, so we had it releaded, and cleaned up, as well as reframed. Here's what it looks like now (but not blurry). It's about 30" wide:

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Glad you saved them, George. It would have been a shame for them to get broken or accidentally thrown away.
