Senior Carp
The first weekend in December The Housebound did his duty and put up the outdoor Chirstmas lights. The girls oohhed and aahhed and proclaimed it the best lights ever.

The following weekend our next door neighbor, Brian, put up his decorations. My 7yo's initial reaction was, "Papi, our house is soo dark! You have to put more lights up." So this last weekend he hung a lighted garland over the garage.

Brian's girlfriend came over and went on and on about how beautiful, how elegant, how everything our yard looked. I saw The Housebound and Brian exchange glances and am now a-feared.

The gaunlet has been thrown. I wonder what's going to happen next year.

Like this?
Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments
and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism.

We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.
