Wow, she's only in middle school now. I'll really get lectured by the time she's in high school.

Maybe that's why kids are moving out by college?? Mom can't take the lectures any more?? :lol2:

No, Aqua, I prefer straight up bitter unadulterated coffee. And I love the taste, acquired though it is.

Do high heels empower or constrain?

Damn useless on ice and in snow and mud. Dangerous on stairs and ramps. Totally impractical and of no discernable utility beyond boutique window displays.
thank you AC

Speaking of coffee, I think I will go pull a nice double shot of espresso. Mmmmm.

I'll be getting myself the same 'round 11:45 today. Have you ever tried the flavored stuff, Mik? I can't say I'm a fan, but then again I don't even like coffee; I just drink it for the chemicals.

Have you even tried cool-brewed coffee? (You use cold water and let it brew overnight, as opposed to hot.)

I hear it's more potent, and not at all bitter. Never tried it myself, though.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

Nope. Unfortunately I have to watch the caffeine intake right now too. I use a mix of half regular and half decaf beans.

A lecture on what? Coffee? Coffee is the Staff Of Life. With it, I'm nearly life-like!

She's anti caffeine. I can't wait until she wants to have hot tea in the evening again, probably this weekend.

I love a cup of coffee in the morning, and another mid morning, and sometimes in the afternoon, and ............. :lol2:

Hubby and I joke that we are becoming geezers. We used to wonder how old people could drink coffee all day long. Well .........

Wow! That must have been some strong coffee.

Most coffee in Minnesooooota is pretty weak. That's what we call 'church coffee' and it is possible ot drink it allllllll day long. Many older folks have a pot going all day and have a cup in hand every hour.

Ever had egg coffee?

I've overdosed on caffeine, before. Just makes me jittery... I usually get "coffeed out" before that point, though.

Oh, you and your fancy espresso machine! We just drink coffee here.

Daughter thinks hubby and I are very unhealthy because of the caffeine. Ah well, she's 14. Wait 'til she starts college!

Wimp.

I've taken to adding something called STOK ... a shot of black coffee with high caffeine content ... to my morning coffee, every now and then. The box warns, not more than two a day.
