I got the cookie cutters I ordered, the piano, a musical note, a cat, and a Minnesoooota-shaped one. They had more that looked fun, but I thought this was enough. The prices were nice, too. The state one was $1.49 US, and the others were $1.19 US.

They are really nice. I'll put them in hubby's and daughter's stockings. We bake together, so it will be a family activity gift.

What did you decide to do for your piano teacher? I cheated and got some great shortbread cookies for daughter's teacher, and I got her the key brite cleaner in a spray bottle. I can't guarantee I'll be baking between now and the next piano lesson day, so shortbread fills the gap.

Do you have World Market stores where you live? That's where I got the cookies, and they have oodles of goodies for small gifties.

HOLY CARP!!!
Wow, cool. Post pictures at some point, if you can. Of the cutters and cookies.

I got my teacher a stained glass snowflake (all clear beveled glass). We have often had conversations about finding locally made quality crafts, so I think he'll appreciate it. We'll see today -- both my son and I have our lessons.

Oooooh, the glass snowflake sounds very cool (no pun intended.)

It will be a while before we use the cookie cutters, probably well after Christmas. Sometimes hubby and daughter just get a notion to bake, and I am happy to let them! :lol2:
