(Why does anyone take this blowhard seriously anymore. For all those who complain about O'Reily, take a look at another example of "Fair and Balanced.")

I am as much in the glow of the Kennedys as anyone but I am amazed that she will be appointed rather quickly by Governor Paterson to fill that seat without really having made a public case for that appointment. In other words, with no speeches, no statements, no memorable lines, no quotable quotes. She may be the most successful politician in history because she hasn’t said anything yet. Does that astound you? Maybe we are used to this with the Kennedys? I mean i find it wondrous … maybe i find it sacramental that she is getting this job.

Please, Chris, why don't you go into politics or something?

Oh, wait.....

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.

My obsession with Matthews is that he supposedly is a "news" man, and therefore should be held to a standard of at least a modicum of objectivity. I, for one, am glad to see him disintigrate like this - it removes any doubt in anyone's head about taking him seriously when he comments on those that don't give him a tingle, or aren't sacramental. He is the Sean Hannity of the Left.

He is the Sean Hannity of the Left.
Was there ever any doubt of that, though? That should be blindingly obvious to anyone paying attention.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

The thing about Sean Hannity, though, is that he is unapologetically and explicitly conservative. He doesn't try to pretend he is other than a conservative commentator.

There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

He does also pretend to be intelligent. Not very well, admittedly.
