I am so adjective that I verb nouns!
I was at Burbank airport this morning and met Dawn Wells. She is a very gracious lady, and we had a lovely talk about Gilligan's Island. It made my morning!

That's pretty cool! But Ginger was hotter.

What? It's true and you know it.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

Not a chance. Mary Ann was HOT, and even at her current age, she's still a FINE-looking woman!!

Edit: Kathy, I didn't realize that pot was called "hooch." Whenever I've heard the term used, it was describing liquor; not ganja. :smokin:

HOLY CARP!!!
Mary Ann or Ginger?

One word: menage.
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

Ginger always seemed like she had some mileage on her. But then I've always had a thing for wholesome looking women.

Maybe midwestern nomenclature, but it's pretty common; Mary Ann would have known.

I googled her on IMDB, where there were some photos from a 2004 TV appearance. She does seem to be keeping well.

(and re the question - Mary Ann)

Al, :thumb: She looks great, doesn't she? :)

I guess you're technically correct, Kathy. I've just honestly never heard it. Then again, I'm from California. What do I know.

If from Humboldt County, California, probably a whole hell of a lot about the topic at hand.

Yeah, her character - moviestar - was meant to seem like she'd had a few holes in her dance card punched.

Mary Ann, on the other hand. Not exactly 100% innocent herself (what was she doing on a 3 hour cruise with her professor, anyway?).
I used to speculate about that one for hours... :whome:

The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D

I had raunchy doggy-style fantasies about Mrs. Howell, including her foppish, impotent, pompous husband looking on. She had that "hot upper class lady" thing going... :excited:

Sorry... TMI.

TMI indeed. What scares me was your fixation on analysis of Mr. Howell.
