Sweeeeeeet! Looks like a real man's bike.

Decades ago, the Norton 750 was the fastest production bike on the road (as I recall - a friend owned one). Vibrated like crazy as did Triumph, but it was a bad-ass ride. At the time I had a CB750 Honda, 4-banger and smooooth as silk.

When I was a kid the police all rode Nortons (Commanders?). I think the idea was to give criminals a sporting chance to escape since you could hear them coming from about 5 miles away.

Well, anyway.... Congratulations to the Brits for bringing their manufacturing and production back home.

It's actually cheaper to have English people build it.

Is this because British companies don't have to offer dental insurance to their employees?

I owned a 1973 850 Interstate for a time. It was also black with gold pin striping. Fun to ride, even with the right hand shift and reverse shift pattern, but I was mortified of it ever breaking down. Not a Whitworth wrench to my name....

That Norton's made me think twice about buying any more Japanese sports bikes certainly

Well, I'm riding a Yamaha Road Star. If I had the scratch, I'd definitely buy a Triumph. In fact, I'd buy a Triumph before I even gave a thought to buying a Harley.
