Both campaigns have economic plans but this is what the public knows:

McCain = Republican = Bush

Obama = change = it's got to be better under Obama, right?

It can't get much worse can it?

I don't really fall into the 'blame Bush' camp for this, but I do find it rather amusing that for all his efforts to leave with a positive legacy regarding Iraq, he's likely going to be remembered for the total economic meltdown at the end of his term.

Then again, whoever succeeds is most likely to be remembered as being the guy in charge during all of the pain that will no doubt follow. I'm not sure I'd really want the job.
