HOLY CARP!!!
Our Uni has a theater, only $4.
$3 on Wednesdays.

I usually am not interested in "pop" flicks.
Gotta get out. :leaving:
Too many pianos. :hair:

Heath Ledger was awesome as the Joker. Great study in sociopathology.

It starts in 40 minutes but it only takes 5 to walk to the theater.

What should I do for 35 minutes. <_<

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

HOLY CARP!!!
I had to wash my hair.

I just was bored.
Too predictable and formula.
I stayed for over half of it, waiting to get interested, waiting to care.
It never happened, so I left.

With all the rave reviews I thought this commercial pop flick might just be different.
No biggie, it was only $4.

Good! That means you're ready to come to the family reunion thread.

Bring a dish to pass.

See you there!

Sorry to hear you walked out Kenny.

Considering it is literally one of the highest-rated movies of all time, and the second highest grossing movie of all time (domestic, no inflation), I guess you just have a different style you like.

Oh well - to each their own. Luckily I'm easily pleased...I enjoy a quality independent film and a summer popcorn flick just the same. Just give me entertainment, in whatever genre it might be in. The Dark Knight, btw, will be up for Best Picture at the Oscars and win or lose, I'm sure it'll rack in a bunch of other prestigious awards (including a posthumous Best Supporting Actor for the late Heath Ledger).

I suggest you be a little more open minded next time.

Well, I'm sure your movie experience was better than mine. We went to see Beverly Hills Chihauha. Ahhh, the wonder of parenthood! (I don't remember reading about this consequence in The Joy of Sex  )
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

What with all the hype, I took my (then) girlfriend (now, wife) to see "Batman" in Shinjuku. Boring and stupid. I fell asleep, and I am one of those people who NEVER falls asleep during movies! God, it sucked... I haven't bothered to see any of the Batman movies, since. Lame, lame, lame...

It would be nice if Hollyweird actually came up with some original ideas, instead of cashing in on old stuff. :rolleyes2:
