Finally
Some of you may remember that I used to have a horse. Mrs. George and I donated him to a rehab center about a year and a half ago, and Mrs. K occasionally takes a riding lesson on him. Seems that Simon got an owie!

From this month's newsletter.

Mrs. K saw him yesterday, and the wound is in the shape of an "L", with each leg being about 10 inches long.

Poor baby!

Here's the thread about Simon's journey to the rehab center.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Aw, man... I'm really sorry to hear this, George. He's a big strong boy, though. He'll be out galloping around again in no time. :thumb:

Shirley saw him on Thursday, and she said that he looks pretty 'sleepy' - droopy eyes, and dozing off. I think they're doing a fine job of pain control. Actually, it's interesting to see vets getting aggressive with pain management. When Oliver (our dog) had his ACL repaired, he was sent home on a narcotic patch, NSAIDs for a month, and an oral narcotic for a week. That's better than we do for people.
