They offer a very basic data transfer for free, but that's not the one I want. I'm doing the One to One membership that will cover all of my set up, questions and issues, tutorials, etc. It's a personal session every week for a year for $99. Good deal, I don't want to mess up my data and iTunes on the PC to Mac transfer.

Goo, $99?! I'd definitely say screw them and do it myself!

I've got personal and business data, iTunes, and iPod that needs reformatting to Mac, etc. It's so much quicker and less hassle to let someone do it who knows the process well.

$99 for a year of weekly whatever I need is a good deal. Especially since I'm brand new to Mac.

Well just with computers. ^_^ I don't change my own oil for example.

But for me, I'd never pay them for a service that I consider goes with the territory of owning a computer. I've always done my own data transfers, setup/installation, troubleshooting, etc. What I've fcuked up in the past turned into a learning experience.

I can understand that I guess.

Yeah but WoW is a service that you can't provide for yourself. A different thing altogether.

I have an important iTunes issue to figure out as well. But once it's all set up and transferred, it will be sweet.

You could dress up as an elf and walk around the local neighbourhood asking for quests. I'm sure someone would beat the living HP out of you after a while for free.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

A few years back, I was playing frisbee golf around the area late at night with some friends. (We always play late at night because there are fewer people around, it's not as hot and there are fewer people around.) We were stopped by 5-0 because they were bored for overall shiftiness. Things were more or less fine until one of the officers flipped his sh!t over a pocket knife I carry. Where I'm from that's only a big deal if the knife is crappy but apparently they classified it as a "dirk" and they were contemplating taking me in and confiscating said dirk.

I explained to them that if indeed I was carrying a dirk, the item would be soulbound to me and any attempt to confiscate it would fail. I said I could destroy it by dropping it somewhere or I could sell it to a vendor, but it would be literally impossible for me to hand it over.

At this point I was detained and was invited to sit with the nice officers for awhile.

$99 sounds like a great deal.

My hired geek gets $100 just to show up and he can't fix anything in less than two hours.
