HOLY CARP!!!
|
Do you have any protective products for your MacBook? If so, what do you recommend? I've seen keyboard covers, such as the ProTouch keyboard protector. It looks like a great idea, but I wonder if it gums up the keys if you should ever need to take it off. I've seen hard cases as well, like the Speck hard case -- also seems like a good idea, although I'm not sure how much of the MacBook it covers, i.e. I assume not the keyboard or trackpad. |

I do not use these products but I didn't want you think I was ignoring you. ![]() The only case I have is the Brenthaven backpack. http://brenthaven.com/catalog-apple-pro-15-17.html It is an awesome case/backpack. |

No protective product for my MacBook, but it may soon enjoy the Aptec notebook cooler (the one discounted by Amazon that you linked to, if you consider such a cooler a laptop protective product). |

Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool. I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss! - Cecil Lewis | |

Yes, that qualifies! My Dell was so incredibly hot -- hot where you put your hands to type, hot on the bottom so you couldn't put it in your lap, etc. It's cool everywhere now. I'll use it for my new MacBook Pro. I'm thinking a keyboard protector would be a good idea. I'll ask at the Apple store for a recommendation. |
